About the Role
We are hiring a skilled Mobile App Tester proficient in manual testing and automation testing to ensure the quality of our mobile applications. The role involves writing and executing detailed test cases, identifying bugs, generating QA reports, and working with top testing tools to deliver flawless apps.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manual and automated testing of mobile applications to identify bugs and usability issues.
- Develop and execute detailed test cases and test plans for all app features.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, UI/UX, and compatibility testing across devices and platforms.
- Generate insightful QA test reports highlighting test results, defects, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to address application issues.
- Work with leading testing tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JIRA, Postman, Katalon Studio, or similar.
- Ensure mobile apps meet quality assurance (QA) standards for reliability and performance.
- Identify and implement test automation frameworks to streamline testing processes.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in mobile app testing.
- Proficiency in using testing tools (free or paid) such as Selenium, Appium, JIRA, Postman, or others.
- Strong understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and test lifecycle management.
- Experience in creating and maintaining test automation scripts.
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Excellent analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to document test cases and reports effectively.
- Knowledge of mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
