Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager with expertise in at least one of the following categories: Leisure, Healthcare, Fashion, Automobile, Beauty, Fitness, Electronics, Property/Real Estate, Finance, Daily Essentials, Home Décor, or Education. The ideal candidate will lead, manage, and inspire a sales team to achieve and exceed targets while driving business growth within their assigned category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Management: Supervise, motivate, and guide the sales team to achieve individual and collective goals. Provide regular coaching, training, and feedback to enhance team performance.
- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans aligned with organizational objectives. Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth. Monitor sales metrics and adjust plans to optimize performance.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned category. Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns that drive sales.
- Performance Monitoring: Prepare detailed sales reports and present findings to senior management. Ensure the team meets or exceeds set targets and KPIs.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Field Sales.
- MBA in Marketing or Sales.
- Proven experience in sales, with a strong understanding of at least one of the specified categories.
- Results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a high-performing sales team.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
