Business Development Manager / Engineer - Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·        Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.

·        Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.

·        Identify potential marketing partners in various regions in India.

·        Manage and retain relationships with existing clients.

·        Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.

·        Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition.

·        Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.

·        Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.

·        Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.

·        Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.

·        Develop ways to improve customer experience and build brand loyalty.

·        Follow industry trends locally and internationally.

·        Report on successes and areas needing improvements.

·        Participating in exhibitions, networking with existing and new customers and other potential contacts.

·        Develop an understanding of relevant sectors and how they are likely to respond.

·        Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.

 

Requirements:

 

·        Proven work experience as a business development manager, sales and marketing executive or a relevant role, in the textile / capital machine industry

·        Proven sales track record.

·        Good computer skills (MS Office)

·        Proficiency in English.

·        Communication and negotiation skills.

·        Time management and planning skills.

·        Strong business sense and industry expertise.

·        Ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing the deal.

·        Ability to build rapport.

·        Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences.

·        Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy.

·        BE in Electrical/Mechanical, Bachelor’s in Textile Technology; Certification in sales or marketing will be an asset
