- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to understand system requirements and potential challenges.
- Develop pricing strategies for automation solutions, ensuring competitiveness in the market while maintaining profitability.
- Prepare and review proposals, considering factors such as materials, labor, engineering, design, and overheads.
- Provide clients with cost-effective solutions based on their specifications and project requirements.
- Develop project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that the costs are in line with estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review cost variances and identify areas for cost reduction or improvement.
- Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors for materials, components, and services required in automation projects.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and lead times with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
