Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Massage Therapist to join our team at Vlcc Institute. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality massage therapy services to our clients. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Junior level with 1 to 3 years of experience as a Massage Therapist
• Valid certification or license in massage therapy
• Proficiency in a variety of massage techniques, such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and aromatherapy
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
• Passion for wellness and helping clients improve their overall well-being

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide professional and customized massage treatments to clients based on their individual needs and preferences
• Assess clients' health conditions and specific requirements to determine the most suitable massage techniques and products
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sterilizing equipment and sanitizing massage rooms
• Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and provide guidance on post-treatment care and exercises
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and maintain a high standard of professionalism and ethical conduct
• Keep accurate and detailed records of clients' treatment plans and progress
• Collaborate with other wellness professionals, such as physiotherapists and chiropractors, to provide comprehensive care to clients
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
