Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our executive team at Villa Maya in Thiruvananthapuram. This full-time role requires a seasoned professional with 10 to 30 years of relevant experience. As a key leader, you will oversee our culinary offerings and contribute to maintaining Villa Maya's renowned dining experience.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in food and beverage operations (Mandatory skill), ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Demonstrated expertise in staff training (Mandatory skill) to uphold high service standards and professional development.
  • Proficient in budgeting (Mandatory skill) with a strong ability to manage financial aspects and optimize profitability.
  • Skilled in menu development to cater to diverse palates and enhance the culinary journey at Villa Maya.
  • Knowledgeable in wine pairing to provide guests with exceptional dining experiences that complement their meal.
  • Adept in inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost control within budgetary limits.
  • Strong team leadership skills to guide, motivate, and inspire the food and beverage team towards excellence.
  • Focus on customer experience, prioritizing guest satisfaction, and addressing feedback to sustain a high-quality dining environment.

  • Oversee menu creation and updates, ensuring the inclusion of authentic and innovative dishes.
  • Implement staff training programs to maintain exceptional service standards and foster career growth.
  • Monitor financial performance and manage the department's budget effectively to maximize revenue.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels, negotiate with suppliers, and manage procurement processes.
  • Supervise the dining experience, ensuring guest satisfaction and addressing any service issues promptly.
  • Lead the food and beverage team, encouraging collaboration and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure integrated operations and seamless guest experiences.
