Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Python Backend Developer with a strong background in Python and

extensive experience in serverless architecture, microservices, and data pipeline management at

scale. As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers with 2 to 5 years

of experience, driving team mandates for data pipelines, and managing databases at scale.

Roles & Responsibilities:

● Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the

successful delivery of projects.

● Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust serverless applications using AWS

Lambda, API Gateway, and other related technologies.

● Build and manage automated testing and deployment pipelines using GitHub and

Codepipeline.

● Architect and implement efficient data pipelines and workflows to handle large-scale data

processing.

● Manage and optimize databases, including DynamoDB, Postgres, and S3, to ensure high

performance and reliability.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize features and improvements.

● Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the

team.

Requirements:

● 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Python.

● Proven experience in designing and building serverless applications and microservices.

● Extensive knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and

others.

● Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and systems design.

● Proficiency in Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

● Experience with automated testing and deployment tools such as GitHub, Codepipeline, and

others.

● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.

● Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire a team.

● Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern web development practices.

● A passion for quality and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience in managing and optimizing databases at scale.

● Knowledge of web servers and Linux operating systems.

● Previous experience working in a startup environment.

● Strong analytical skills and curiosity about technology and innovation.

Education:

Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (BTech, BE, MCA, MSC....
