Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP TM (Transportation Management) Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP TM solutions, ensuring optimal transportation and logistics processes for the organization. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to analyze transportation needs, optimize operations, and drive system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the configuration and implementation of SAP TM modules, ensuring efficient transportation planning and execution.
• Analyze and design transportation processes based on business requirements, including shipment planning, freight orders, and freight settlements.
• Work on master data management related to carriers, shipping points, and transportation zones.
• Collaborate with the business to optimize route planning, load consolidation, carrier selection, and freight costing.
• Configure transportation charge management, cost distribution, and integrate with SAP SD, MM, and FI modules.
• Facilitate integration with external systems such as warehouse management and third-party logistics providers (3PL).
• Support freight tendering and transportation execution activities.
• Provide end-user training, documentation, and continuous support for SAP TM users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP TM functionalities.
• Participate in SAP TM project implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Work closely with ABAP developers for technical customizations and reporting needs.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP TM module including configuration, testing, and support.
• In-depth knowledge of transportation planning, execution, charge calculation, and freight settlement processes.
• Experience in integration with SAP ERP modules like SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and FI (Financial Accounting).
• Solid understanding of transportation industry practices and logistics processes.
• Strong knowledge of freight cost management, carrier contract management, and shipment scheduling.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address complex transportation issues.
• Experience in SAP TM project lifecycle, from requirement gathering to post-implementation support.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience working with SAP TM module.
• SAP certification in TM is highly desirable.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori apps is a plus.
