Uptempo Global Inc., a multi-language content translation and localization company headquartered in Seoul, is seeking talented Korean–English Translators & Typesetters for our expanding webtoon localization projects.

Responsibilities:

• Translate webtoon scripts from Korean → English with accuracy and cultural nuance.
• Typeset English text into webtoon/comic panels, ensuring readability and natural flow.
• Maintain consistency in terminology, character names, and style based on guides.
• Work closely with translators, editors, and production teams to ensure quality.
• Deliver projects on time and adapt based on editorial feedback.

Requirements:

• Strong Korean reading and comprehension ability.
• Native-level English fluency.
• Familiarity with webtoons/comics and creative storytelling.
• Experience with typesetting tools (Photoshop, Clip Studio, or similar).
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Prior experience in translation, localization, or editorial work.
• Graphic design/editing knowledge.
