Role Purpose

The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance across the assigned region, with a strong focus on the Defence & Aerospace market segment. The role involves managing and developing a regional sales team, handling strategic key accounts, achieving revenue targets, and aligning regional sales execution with the company’s overall business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Regional Sales Management

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and pipelines to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Drive new business development and expansion of existing customer accounts

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and manage Key Account Managers and Sales Engineers in the region
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide structured feedback and guidance
  • Build a high-performance, customer-focused sales culture

Client & Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Defence & Aerospace customers
  • Support the team in managing strategic and high-value accounts
  • Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of customer and commercial issues

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Align regional sales plans with company goals and leadership direction
  • Provide market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback
  • Ensure adherence to pricing policies, sales processes, and commercial terms
  • Implement structured sales processes including territory planning, forecasting, and customer acquisition

 

Operational Coordination

  • Ensure accurate sales reporting, forecasting, and budgeting for the region
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as Product Marketing, Field Application Engineers (FAEs), Supply Chain, and Customer Support
  • Ensure smooth execution of purchase orders, deliveries, and customer commitments

 

Travel Requirement

  • Willingness to travel 50%–70% of working time within the assigned region

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager or similar leadership role
  • 4+ years of experience in sales, key account management, and team handling
  • Experience handling large domestic accounts in electronics / components / semiconductor industry
  • Graduation degree with the ability to understand technical and application-based requirements
  • Prior exposure to Defence & Aerospace customers is strongly preferred
