Main Purpose:
- The IT Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining Unified’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and networks.
- The role includes supporting business-critical systems and enabling IT-driven commercial advantages in a competitive marketplace.
Reporting To: IT Manager
Key Responsibilities
· System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), and applications.
· User Management: Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
· IT Security: Implement security protocols, conduct audits, and respond to threats or breaches.
· Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
· Performance Monitoring: Monitor system and network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
· Data Management: Manage data backups, recovery plans, and ensure business continuity.
· Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
· Hardware Oversight: Track and manage IT hardware inventory, procurement, and lifecycle.
· Software Management: Ensure timely software updates, license compliance, and version control.
· Network Administration: Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
· End-User Support: Provide technical assistance and training to staff across departments.
· Project Involvement: Participate in IT projects including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to IT policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
· Cloud Management: Support and maintain cloud infrastructure and services.
Qualifications/ Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· 6–8 years of proven experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration
