Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electronics & Communication Engineer with a strong focus on on-site project execution, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electronic and communication systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of systems at various project sites, often requiring travel and hands-on technical work in challenging environments.

Responsibilities:

·        Contract Compliance & Specification: Thoroughly understand the project contract and prepare detailed specification documents for electrical and electronic installations in accordance with contractual requirements.

·        Electrical System Installation Management:

·        Supervise and execute the installation of electronic and communication equipment, including but not limited to:

o  Networking equipment (routers, switches, access points)

o  Telecom systems (RF, fiber optic, microwave)

o  Control systems (PLC, SCADA)

o  CCTV and security systems

o  Sensor networks and IoT devices

o  Power supply units and cabling infrastructure

§ Perform rigorous testing and commissioning of installed systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and operational standards.

§ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the installation and commissioning phases.

·        Documentation: Prepare detailed Joint Readiness Inspection (JRI) and Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) documents.

·        Customer Acceptance: Facilitate and secure the acceptance of JRI and ATP documents from the customer, addressing any queries or concerns.

·        Technical Manual Preparation: Develop comprehensive technical manuals for installed systems in accordance with JSS 0251 standards.

·        Site Management & Coordination: Effectively coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient installation processes.

·        Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance procedures throughout the installation and commissioning phases.

·        Reporting: Provide regular progress updates and reports to the project management team.

• Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineer.
• Relevant experience in the installation and commissioning of Electronics & Communication Engineer
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Proficiency in relevant software applications.
