Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer with strong expertise in lighting systems and electronic hardware design. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for designing, developing, testing, and supporting lighting-related electronic solutions from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronic circuits with a focus on lighting and power electronics.

• Develop LED driver circuits, power management systems, and lighting control electronics.

• Perform schematic design, component selection, circuit simulation, and PCB layout.

• Build, test, and validate prototypes to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance.

• Conduct design reviews and support EMI/EMC, thermal, and environmental considerations.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as schematics, BOMs, test reports, and design notes.

• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, and quality teams.

• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and design improvements during production.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in electronic hardware design.

• Strong experience in lighting systems, LED drivers, and power electronics.

• Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCad.

• Experience with circuit simulation tools (SPICE, LTspice).

• Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes and power analyzers.

• Knowledge of EMI/EMC principles and design for manufacturability.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in defence, aerospace, or ruggedized electronics.

• Familiarity with lighting standards and safety compliance.

• Experience with embedded systems or lighting control firmware.

• Knowledge of thermal management for high-power lighting designs.
