Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Account Manager to join our Salesforce partner sales team. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers, growing existing accounts, and delivering revenue targets by positioning Salesforce solutions across multiple verticals. Your success will depend on your ability to develop client relationships, craft strategic account plans, and partner effectively with internal and Salesforce ecosystem stakeholders.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from lead qualification to closure across assigned accounts
- Manage and grow a book of accounts, nurturing client relationships for repeat business
- Develop strategic account plans to map Salesforce solutions to client business objectives
- Collaborate with pre-sales consultants, delivery teams, and Salesforce AEs to craft winning proposals
- Maintain a strong understanding of Salesforce Cloud offerings (Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce, etc.)
- Conduct discovery meetings, solution positioning, and executive-level presentations
- Work closely with Salesforce industry and segment teams to align go-to-market efforts
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets and sales activity targets
- Keep accurate records in Salesforce CRM: forecast, pipeline, opportunities, meetings
- Represent the company at Salesforce events, webinars, and industry forums

Desired Skill Set
- Proven success in B2B enterprise software sales, preferably in Salesforce or cloud SaaS ecosystem
- Deep understanding of solution selling or consultative selling methodologies (SPIN, Challenger, MEDDIC)
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and translate client challenges into Salesforce solutions
- Effective communication and C-level negotiation skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical, delivery, and marketing teams
- Prior experience with Salesforce CRM, proposal tools, and B2B sales tech stack
- Industry-specific experience in sectors like BFSI, Manufacturing, Retail, Public Sector is a strong plus
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or post-graduation in Sales/Marketing preferred
