Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Business Development Executive who has a proven track record in EdTech or SaaS sales, preferably in expanding to new/underserved markets across India. This role demands strategic thinking, high energy, and strong relationship-building abilities.
You’ll be responsible for acquiring and managing high-value institutional clients, showcasing the platform’s potential, and contributing directly to the company’s revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Ø Drive end-to-end business development and B2B sales of our EdTech SaaS platform across India.
Ø Identify and engage with schools, coaching centres, corporates, and training institutes through strategic outreach.
Ø Build and manage a strong sales pipeline; meet aggressive institutional sales targets.
Ø Conduct personalized product demos and presentations, highlighting the technical and operational advantages of TuteVirtual.
Ø Map client needs and proposes customized training solutions, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term retention.
Ø Maintain excellent market intelligence, track competitor activities, and provide strategic inputs to the management.
Ø Foster strong business relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the education and corporate training sectors.
Ø Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to improve platform offerings and outreach.
Who You Are
Ø 5 to 10 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or tech-based services.
Ø Strong network of connections within coaching institutions, K-12 schools, corporates, or skilling/training organizations.
Ø Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ø Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding aggressive sales targets in new/lagging markets.
Ø Tech-savvy with a good understanding of SaaS platforms and virtual training technology.
Ø Gritty, self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently in a dynamic startup environment.
Ø Willing to travel as needed (Pan-India exposure preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
Ø MBA or equivalent degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or Engineering.
Ø Experience using CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email marketing, and data-driven outreach strategies.
Ø Prior exposure to institutional/corporate sales in the education technology space.
