About the Role:
We’re hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a strong track record in international SaaS sales, especially within the Middle East logistics and transport ecosystem. You’ll be the first point of contact for our future customers—creating qualified opportunities that lead to long-term partnerships. This is a high-impact role where you’ll combine strategic outreach, market knowledge, and personalized communication to fill the top of our sales funnel with high-potential leads.
Key Responsibilities:
• Targeted Lead Generation: Research and identify key stakeholders in logistics and fleet operations across the Middle East. Initiate contact through structured outbound efforts—calls, emails, LinkedIn, and more.
• Strategic Outreach: Personalize pitches that highlight TransportSimple’s value proposition—simplifying transport management, optimizing operations, and driving profitability.
• Qualification & Discovery: Conduct initial discovery calls to understand customer pain points, evaluate product fit, and qualify leads based on sales criteria.
• Appointment Setting: Book demos and high-quality sales meetings for the Business Development and Account Executive teams.
• Pipeline Nurturing: Manage early-stage leads with thoughtful follow-ups, relevant content, and consistent engagement to push them toward conversion.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to refine messaging and ensure seamless lead handoff.
• CRM Excellence: Maintain accurate CRM records, report key metrics (open rates, conversion rates, demo show rates), and improve outreach strategies.
• Market Intelligence: Stay informed on regional SaaS adoption trends, logistics tech shifts, competitor moves, and regulatory changes in the Middle East.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience: 5+ years in SaaS sales development or business development, with proven exposure to the Middle East or other international markets
• Outbound Sales Mastery: Expertise in cold outreach, prospecting, and multichannel engagement techniques
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English (Arabic proficiency is a bonus)
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, or similar sales engagement platforms
• Driven & Goal-Oriented: Self-starter with a metrics-driven mindset and strong execution skills
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline (MBA is a plus)
