Job Overview


We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team at Transmarine Cargo. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and achieving targets. This role is based in Gandhidham, Gujarat, India and is a full-time position. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the logistics industry.


Qualifications and Skills


  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the logistics industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Leadership and team management skills


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth
  • Identify and engage with potential clients to generate new leads
  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts, and analyze sales data
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent customer service
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales executives


Qualifications


•          Excellent analytical skills

•          Strong communication skills - written and verbal

•          Proven track record in lead generation and sales

•          Experience in conducting research on markets and customers

•          Exceptional customer service skills

•          Bachelor's or Masters in degree in Business, Marketing or related field

•          Experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry is a must.

•          Fluency in spoken and written English, Hindi and Guajarati 

•          International sales experience is an added advantage
