About the Job



  1. Accepting store deliveries are also part of the Commis I Chef duties.
  2. Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control.
  3. Salary range 14000-16000/- with food & accommodation provided by the company
  4. Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner.
  5. Commis I Chef are also required to ensure that all stocks are well maintained.
  6. Commis I also ensure that mise en place for food preparation is completed in your section.
  7. Ensure the quality of the food items.
  8. Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques
  9. Ensure and prepare mise-en-place for banquets and restaurant buffets as per the plan
  10. Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers.
  11. Ensure constant innovation in ala carte,buffet preparation and presentation.
  12. Follow and maintain cleanliness and good hygiene practices in the kitchen.
  13. Inform Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials
  14. Working experience in hotel or restaurant
  • Measures, mixes, and prepares meal ingredients, sauces, and seasonings
  • Washes, chops, and cuts fruit, meat, and vegetable items
  • Assesses inventory and requests resupply when necessary
  • Disposes of spoiled items and adheres to sanitation policies
