Senior Accountant – Jewellery Store

Roles & Responsibilities:

-       Responsible for driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service and managing high-value transactions within the diamond jewellery store.

-       Maintain an in-depth understanding of the store’s product range, including diamonds, gemstones, precious metals and custom designs.

-       Assist customers in selecting pieces that suit their occasions and budgets, providing expert guidance throughout the sales process.

-       Handle customer queries, concerns and complaints with professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction.

-       Support the Store Manager in implementing sales strategies to maximize revenue, customer engagement and store profitability.

-       Ensure all sales processes are completed accurately, including payment transactions, documentation and invoicing.

-       Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sales staff, sharing best practices for selling luxury goods and managing client relationships.

-       Participate in training sessions for staff, helping them develop their knowledge of diamonds and luxury sales.

Skills:

-       Must have product knowledge and customer service.

-       In-depth knowledge of diamonds, gemstones and precious metals, including the ability to explain diamond grading and certification (GIA knowledge preferred).

-       Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with VIP clients.

-       Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with customer needs and preferences.

Qualification & Experience:

-       Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Retail or related field.

-       Min 5 to 8 years of experience.

-       Must have Language (English, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu)

-       Preferred female candidates.
