Job Summary:

The F&B Service Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by ensuring prompt, courteous, and efficient service of food and beverages in the restaurant, in-room dining, or banquet events, as per the standards of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating and menu choices.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
• Serve food and beverages as per standard operating procedures (SOPS).
• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and resolving any complaints or issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, dining area, and service equipment.
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables, polishing cutlery, and refilling condiments.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
• Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service operations.
• Upsell menu items and promote daily specials and loyalty programs where applicable.
• Maintain billing and payment procedures accurately.
• Adhere to grooming and uniform standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 0-2 years of experience in F&B service; freshers with internships may apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused attitude with a pleasant personality.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage menus and service styles.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift trays and move quickly between tables and kitchen/service stations.
