Job Title: US Accountant

Summery:

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and have an ability to

accurately track and record cash flow. This candidate should have experience in

maintaining a database of financial information and be able to recognize and solve any

problems that may arise.

Skills:

 Accrual, Amortization, GL mapping, Account Finalisation, Payable,

Receivable

Essential Functions:

 Review the daily accounting activities like payment and booking of invoices.

 Preparing accounting entries and reconciling general ledgers

 Resolving day to day accounting issues and assisting team in resolving their

queries.

 Reconcile AR and follow up on collections.

 Ensuring organized set of detailed records and files.

 Coordinate and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

 Organize and update the company's accounts database in QuickBooks

 Implements recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures.

 Have knowledge of approved vendors and policies to avoid paying unauthorized

invoices and expenses.

 Performing audits and solving errors.

 Accrual / Amortization, Reversal, GL mapping, Charts of Accounts, Finalisation,

Receivable and Payable

Preferred candidate profile

 Excellent communication, English writing, and presentation skills.

 Knowledge and understanding of QuickBooks.

 Proficiency in MS office Proficiency Excel

 Strong numeracy skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

 Bachelor's degree in Accounts or a related field

 Experience in handling the US accounts

 Strong management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.

 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through

Friday,

06:30pm IST to 3:30am IST
