Job Summary:
The SEO Specialist will be responsible for optimizing the company’s online presence, improving search engine rankings, driving organic traffic, and ensuring high visibility across digital platforms. This role requires expertise in SEO strategies, keyword research, content optimization, and performance tracking to enhance the company’s digital footprint and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SEO Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and search visibility.
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value search terms.
- Optimize on-page elements, including title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, and internal linking.
- Monitor and enhance website structure, page speed, and mobile responsiveness for SEO.
2. Content Optimization & Link Building
- Work closely with the content and marketing teams to optimize blogs, articles, and web pages for SEO.
- Develop high-quality backlink strategies to improve domain authority.
- Ensure content follows best practices for readability, keyword placement, and search intent.
- Collaborate with developers to implement structured data markup (Schema).
3. Technical SEO & Website Performance
- Conduct regular site audits to identify and fix technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, broken links, and duplicate content.
- Optimize website performance, including Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile usability.
- Implement technical improvements such as XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonical tags.
- Monitor website health using tools like Google Search Console and Screaming Frog.
4. Local & International SEO
- Optimize Google My Business (GMB) profiles for local search rankings.
- Implement multi-language and multi-region SEO strategies for international reach.
- Improve citation management and ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency.
5. Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Analyze and report SEO performance metrics using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as organic traffic, conversion rates, and keyword rankings.
- Provide actionable insights to improve SEO strategies and campaign effectiveness.
6. Competitor Analysis & Industry Trends
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in SEO strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and best practices.
- Experiment with new SEO techniques to stay ahead of industry changes.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in SEO, digital marketing, or website optimization.
- Expertise in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, and other SEO tools.
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for SEO improvements.
- Experience with content marketing, keyword research, and link-building strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Competencies:
- Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with PPC (Google Ads, Social Media Ads) and SEM strategies.
- Understanding of AI and automation tools in SEO.
- Ability to optimize content for voice search and featured snippets.
