Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior PCB Layout Engineer to join our team in Ahmedabad on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PCB layout design and contribute to the delivery of innovative electronic products. You will collaborate across teams to drive project success in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience in PCB Layout Design (Mandatory skill), able to manage complex multilayer board layouts for advanced electronic projects
• Proficient with High-Speed Design (Mandatory skill), ensuring optimal signal integrity and performance in challenging environments
• Strong capabilities in Schematic Capture (Mandatory skill), translating requirements into detailed and accurate circuit schematics
• Thorough understanding of Signal Integrity Analysis, mitigating potential issues early in the design process for robust system performance
• Proven ability in Gerber Generation, preparing precise manufacturing-ready files for fabrication partners and ensuring product manufacturability
• Solid knowledge of BOM Management, coordinating electronic component selection, version control, and procurement processes efficiently
• Experience in Embedded Hardware Design, working in an interdisciplinary environment involving both hardware and firmware integration
• Hands-on experience with OrCAD, leveraging the tool for schematic capture, layout, and design validation in electronics product development

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the design and layout of complex, high-speed PCBs, ensuring adherence to industry standards and project requirements
• Create and verify detailed schematics, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define electrical specifications and constraints
• Perform advanced signal integrity analysis to identify and resolve EMI and crosstalk issues during the design phase
• Generate and review Gerber files and manufacturing documentation for internal and external fabrication partners
• Manage complete BOMs, review part selections, and coordinate with procurement and engineering teams
• Participate in design reviews, implementing feedback to drive design improvements and ensure product quality
• Contribute to embedded hardware design projects, working closely with firmware engineers for seamless integration
• Document design processes, updates, and changes, maintaining data traceability for future reference and regulatory compliance
