Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Production Assistant to join our dynamic team in Delhi. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in supporting product development and coordinating production activities related to women's ethnic wear. This is a full-time role, ideal for individuals passionate about fashion and eager to contribute to a leading name in the industry.

Qualifications and Skills

• Handling activities of Product Development (Mandatory skill): demonstrated ability to oversee product progress from inception to production strictly for ethnic garments.
• Handle and distribute production-related paperwork (Mandatory skill): managing all required documentation efficiently to ensure smooth workflow and traceability.
• Good Knowledge of Ladies Ethnic wear (Kurtis indo -western) (Mandatory skill): in-depth understanding of different fabrics, styles, and fashion trends within women's ethnic apparel.
• Follow up with Master for Pattern Making: proven skills in liaising with pattern makers for accurate and timely completion of garment patterns.
• Knowledge of Trims, Costing and Consumption: must be capable of identifying required trims and accurately estimating material consumption and associated costs.
• Diploma in Fashion Designing: completed a formal diploma program providing foundational knowledge in garment construction and design principles.
• Coordinated with production, logistics, and quality control: past experience communicating and collaborating across multiple departments to meet production deadlines and maintain quality standards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills: capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines without compromising efficiency or quality.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities: capacity to resolve production-related issues proactively while working with various teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in all product development activities, ensuring timely execution from design to final production for ethnic women's wear.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute all production-related paperwork to the relevant departments, ensuring documentation accuracy.
• Coordinate follow-ups with master tailors for pattern making and garment sampling, ensuring standards are met.
• Liaise with vendors for procurement of trims, fabrics, and other materials according to product requirements.
• Support costing and consumption analysis for each style to optimize production costs and minimize wastage.
• Work closely with the production, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries.
• Assist in quality checks at various production stages, ensuring garments meet company quality benchmarks.
• Gather feedback, identify bottlenecks, and suggest process improvements for enhanced efficiency in production operations.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and maintain confidentiality of design and production data.
