Job Overview

Lakhmi Chand Tejoo Mal is seeking a talented Fashion Designer specializing in Ladies Ethnic Wear for a full-time, mid-level position in Delhi. The ideal candidate will bring 4 to 6 years of relevant experience to our design team, contributing creatively to our ethnic fashion collections. This role requires a strong sense of design aligned with our brand ethos, with expertise in design applications being mandatory.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience of 4-6 years as a fashion designer with a focus on ladies' ethnic wear.
• Expertise in designing Ethnic Dresses, Suits, Kurtis, Lehengas, and Gowns (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in design applications including Photoshop and Corel Draw is a must (Mandatory skill).
• Strong knowledge of Indo-Western fashion trends and design concepts (Mandatory skill).
• Ability to research and analyze design trends and forecasts to make informed design decisions.
• Skilled in creating innovative designs for women's ethnic brands that align with the latest fashion techniques.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a creative team and independently when required.
• Excellent communication skills for effectively presenting and conveying design ideas.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create and develop innovative designs for ladies' ethnic collections, ensuring alignment with current fashion trends.
• Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and execute creative concepts that reflect the brand's aesthetic.
• Research market trends and consumer insights to drive design innovation and product development.
• Utilize Photoshop and Corel Draw to create detailed fashion designs and digital illustrations.
• Participate in fabric selection, color stories, and detailing to enhance the quality and appeal of the final product.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and competitive landscape for ladies' ethnic wear.
• Liaise with production teams to ensure designs are accurately translated from concept to final product.
• Contribute to seasonal collections, offering fresh perspectives and ideas that energize our product lineup.
