Job Overview

We are seeking a Fashion Designer for a full-time, mid-level position at our headquarters in Delhi. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience and a solid foundation in designing women's ethnic wear. Qualifications and Skills

• In-depth knowledge as a fashion designer or merchandiser specializing in Ladies Ethnic Wear such as ethnic dresses, suits, kurtis, lehengas, and gowns (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in design applications with a strong command of Photoshop and a basic understanding of Corel Draw (Mandatory skill).
• Educational background from Pearl Academy or NIFT is required (Mandatory skill).
• Experience in handling women’s wear designs with a focus on ethnic apparel is essential.
• Proficiency in managing dyeing processes, enhancing fabric appeal with vibrant colors.
• Skilled in block printing techniques, adding intricate patterns to fabric designs.
• Competency in both machine and hand embroidery, showcasing detailed artistry in designs.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop creative and innovative designs in women’s ethnic fashion, aligning with current trends.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure the accuracy and quality of the final product.
• Conduct market research to understand the latest fashion trends and consumer preferences.
• Translate conceptual ideas into tangible designs using design software and sketching.
• Oversee the production process, ensuring design integrity and manufacturing quality.
• Coordinate with suppliers for fabric selection and procurement to ensure timely availability.
• Participate in fashion shows and exhibitions to highlight the company’s latest collections.
• Provide feedback on prototypes and suggest modifications to enhance design effectiveness.
