Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Category Manager for a full-time position based in Delhi. The ideal candidate should possess 7 to 10 years of experience in category management, particularly within women's ethnic wear. The role involves strategic planning and managing product categories, with a focus on expanding our kurti and Indo-western wear segment in the B2B wholesale market.

- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Have handled Kurti & Indo western in wholesales B2B
Qualifications and Skills
- A diploma in fashion designing is mandatory for understanding the design and consumer requirements of ethnic wear.
- Proven experience of 7 to 10 years as a category manager in the fashion industry, specializing in women's ethnic wear products.
- Experience in handling kurti and Indo-western categories in the B2B wholesale market is essential and mandatory.
- Proficient in preparing and managing OTB (Open To Buy) plans for effective inventory control and product selection.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales performance and develop future buying strategies and proposals.
- Ability to plan options as per OTB criteria to ensure optimal product mix and availability.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing women's ethnic wear product categories with a focus on maximizing profitability.
- Excellent negotiation skills with vendors and suppliers to secure the best procurement deals for the company.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and implementation of category strategies to optimize the performance of women's ethnic wear products.
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies based on consumer insight, product trend analysis, and business objectives.
- Work closely with the design and production teams to develop product lines that align with market demands and trends.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to predict future demand and develop replenishment strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to enhance product reach and drive market share growth.
- Ensure effective stock management and replenishment to capitalize on sales opportunities while minimizing excess inventory.
- Negotiate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and the best possible terms.
- Monitor competitor activities, product pricing, and consumer preferences to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
- To understand customer needs, to maximize profits and provide a commercially
