- 4 to 6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and assess purchasing needs
- Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and qualifications
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms
- Monitor supplier performance and collaborate with suppliers to address any issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information
- Stay up to date with industry trends and market conditions to inform purchasing decisions
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the procurement function
