We are seeking a skilled Senior US Tax Preparer to join our clients Team. As a Senior US Tax Preparer, your primary responsibility will be to handle all aspects of US tax preparation and compliance for our clients. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in US tax preparation and review. The employment type for this role is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere.

Qualifications and Skills

• 4 to 6 years of experience as a US tax preparer
• Strong knowledge of US tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• CPA or EA certification is required
• Proficiency in preparing various tax forms, including 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, and corporate tax returns
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and review US federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
• Conduct tax research and stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations
• Assist clients with tax planning and provide guidance on tax-saving strategies
• Review and analyze financial statements and related documentation
• Communicate with clients and tax authorities to resolve any tax-related issues
• Provide support to junior tax preparers and assist with their training and development
• Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation
• Assist with tax audits and respond to tax notices
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in US tax preparation
