Position: Design Engineer

Exp: 6 months to 1 year

Edu: BE Electrical Engineering

Location: Sarkhej, Ahmedabad

Salary:20 - 30K

Job Timings:10AM to 7PM

Key Responsibilities:

· Solar System Design: Design solar energy systems, including the layout of solar panels, electrical wiring diagrams, inverter connections, and system components using AutoCAD and other design software.

· Technical Drawings: Produce accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings for solar installations, ensuring that all designs meet regulatory standards, client specifications, and site conditions.

· Site Assessments: Perform site assessments and evaluations, considering environmental factors such as shading, roof orientation, and structural integrity to optimize the design of solar systems.

· Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering, operations, and project teams to ensure designs are technically sound, cost-effective, and executable.

· Code Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and national electrical codes, building codes, and safety standards.

· Design Optimization: Optimize system designs for efficiency, performance, and ease of installation while minimizing material costs and labor time.

· System Specifications: Prepare and review system specifications, electrical diagrams, and documentation for both internal use and client approval.

· Project Support: Provide ongoing design support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept through installation and commissioning.

· Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices in solar design and engineering.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

· Experience: 0-1 years of experience in engineering design, preferably in the solar energy sector.

· Design Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp 3D or similar design software for creating 2D/3D drawings and models.

· Solar Knowledge: Strong understanding of solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) modules, inverters, electrical wiring, and energy storage systems.

· Technical Expertise: Knowledge of electrical codes, building codes, and safety standards relevant to solar installations.

· Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
