Position Overview:

As the Assistant Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the production process of VRF copper components. You will work closely with the Production Manager to ensure efficient operations, maintain quality standards, and meet production targets while adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Production Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.

2. Supervise and provide guidance to production staff, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and quality control measures.

3. Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

4. Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components required for production.

5. Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.

6. Maintain accurate production records, including inventory levels, production reports, and quality control documentation.

7. Train and develop production staff on new procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols to enhance skills and knowledge.

8. Support continuous improvement initiatives, participate in cross-functional teams, and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes.

9. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including management, engineering, quality assurance, and logistics teams, to coordinate production activities and resolve issues promptly.

10. Uphold company policies, procedures, and quality standards while promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Masters/Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.

- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the production of copper components or related industries.

- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

- Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management principles.

- Familiarity with quality management systems and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
