Job Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time GCP Data Engineer Developer for a role at Synergetics Information Technology Services (India) Pvt. Ltd. The position is offered as a remote opportunity, available anywhere except Hyderabad, and focuses on leveraging GCP to deliver innovative data solutions, contributing to the digital transformation initiatives of our global clients. Candidates must be available to start immediately or have a Last Working Day (LWD) on or before 20 Apr.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with the ability to implement and support cloud infrastructure (Mandatory skill).
• Strong experience in Python programming for data manipulation and building scalable data pipelines (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting (Mandatory skill).
• Experience with BigQuery for efficient storage and querying of large datasets, a required skill for the role.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Dataflow to process and analyze large data sets efficiently in real-time.
• Familiarity with Pub/Sub for designing scalable data messaging systems in the cloud environment.
• Knowledge of Cloud Composer for orchestrating data workflows in the Google Cloud ecosystem.
• Understanding of Terraform for automating the provisioning of cloud infrastructure, ensuring best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data processing solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.
• Utilize Python and SQL to build and maintain data pipelines, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope for data solutions.
• Optimize data solutions for performance and reliability, implementing best practices in cloud services.
• Implement and manage data storage solutions in BigQuery for efficient data analytics.
• Participate in code reviews and optimize processes to improve data handling and processing efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and data issues, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Document technical specifications and workflows for developed data solutions, ensuring knowledge transfer and compliance.
