Job Description: ElasticSearch Engineer

Job Location: The Summit Business Bay, Andheri Kurla Road,Chakala, Andheri (E), Mumbai Mumbai ,Maharashtra,India,400069  

Responsibilities

Responsible for resolving production issues, cluster performance optimization, capacity planning, enhancing monitoring capabilities for early issue detection, driving operational readiness and ongoing maintenance

Deep working knowledge of and proven experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana

Experience building Elastic Cluster and installing plugins

Experience configuring and performance tuning large clusters

Strong understanding of Elasticsearch index configuration options

Working knowledge of Kibana visualization strategies and techniques

Advanced knowledge of Elasticsearch sharing, partitioning, aliases, watchers, etc.

Education & Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of computer science or engineering, or equivalent degree, first class.

Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Elasticsearch Engineer or similar role is required.

Must have designed and implemented ELK solutions, including Elasticsearch, Kibana, etc.

Must have experience in administrating/managing large Elasticsearch clusters.

Must have experience in Elasticsearch query DSL, mappings, ETL, etc.

Development experience with programming languages and frameworks such as Python/Java

Experience working with solutions in both Linux and Windows environments

Experience with private or public cloud providers like AWS is a plus.

Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

Excellent speaking-listening-writing skills, attention to detail, proactive self-starter

Excellent debugging skills
