Roles and Responsibilities

As discussed, we are looking for an Outsourcing contract for the Visual Design / iX skills as listed below in JD. It needs to be under NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) as the information accessible is IBM Confidential and competitive.

At a high level the person will be formatting and polishing the PowerPoint, Word, and other document formats for standardization and to make it visually appealing for the clients; the person will also suggest better UI/Visual designs for websites/microsites and be able to create and edit short videos; more details in JD below. The person will need to have IBM id to access IBM repositories and design guidelines, etc., and will need to work from IBM TPO or Kolkata DLF office. Approximate number of people expected is between 2 and 6 (exact to be confirmed later).

Visual Designer Job Description

Innovate and Create the User interface designs, Videos, Collateral designs, Formatting & Beautification of the Client facing documents (Word, PDF, etc.) & PowerPoint presentations, creating and editing videos to make it engaging as an IBM differentiator

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, Partners, Managers across regions to ensure our deliverable is consistent and appealing. 

Convey messages and information through illustrations, graphics and patterns, and videos.

Design aesthetically- pleasing products that capture our brand and engage our audiences with our services.

Responsibilities:

•Collaborate with teams to define user interface requirements

•Combine various colors, shapes and typography fonts to improve user experience

•Use visual design software to refine illustrations

•Apply sketching techniques, like gradients and contrasts to enhance digital images

•Present rough drafts to Deal leads and/or key stakeholders to gain approval

•Develop prototypes and models to use in various products to maximize aesthetic consistency

•Brainstorm new ideas, layouts and graphics

•Deliver high quality output within deadlines.
