Job Overview
We are looking for an Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team at Storch Consultancy Pvt Ltd. This is a full-time position based in Delhi. The role demands an individual with excellent financial acumen and strong skills in handling different aspects of accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relevant skills and a proactive approach to financial management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in Tally ERP is essential for managing various accounting tasks and ensuring accuracy in financial records.
- In-depth understanding of taxation laws to ensure compliance and optimal tax strategies for the company.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for efficient data management, analysis, and reporting processes.
- Experience in reconciliation processes to maintain an accurate alignment between the company's books and bank statements.
- Expertise in GST Compliance (Mandatory skill) to minimize risks and ensure adherence to legal requirements.
- Capability in TDS Filling (Mandatory skill) to accurately report and deduct taxes at source in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Sound knowledge of Journal entries (Mandatory skill) for maintaining the general ledger and ensuring accuracy of financial information.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies and implement effective solutions for financial processes.
- Experience in a CA Firm to understand intricacies of auditing and financial management in a professional services environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and execute daily accounting and finance activities efficiently, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, providing insights into the company's financial health.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns and compliance with all regulatory requirements related to GST and TDS.
- Maintain ledgers and perform monthly reconciliation duties to ensure alignment with bank statements and other financial records.
- Collaborate with the financial team to drive process improvements and increase operational efficiency.
- Assist in budget preparation and provide support for financial forecasting and analysis.
- Liaise with auditors and assist with audit procedures to ensure smooth and efficient audits.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and update internal policies accordingly to comply with legal changes.
