Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience in Floral Industry is plus.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Engage with customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to understand their floral needs and preferences. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Database Management: Conduct cold calls and send mailers to the generated database to establish a pipeline of leads. Utilize various sources, including online platforms, trade fairs, and networking events, to gather and input potential customer information into the CRM and Sales Reporting sheet. Regularly review and update the database to ensure all fields are filled correctly and data integrity is maintained.
  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify sales opportunities, follow up on leads, and convert inquiries into sales. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline updates in the Excel sheet.
  • Product Knowledge & Product Pitching: Maintain a thorough understanding of our floral products, including seasonal offerings, and communicate product benefits to customers. Identify relevant prospects & Pitch to a minimum number as specified through outbound activities and provide comprehensive details about our products and services to potential customers.
  • Negotiation and Follow-Up: Engage in discussions with customers to negotiate terms and highlight the benefits of the company’s floral offerings from both a business and technical perspective. Regularly schedule follow-up meetings or calls with B2B clients to review their needs, address any concerns, and discuss potential opportunities for additional services or products.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement sales strategies and promotional campaigns. Partner with the marketing team to design and implement effective lead generation campaigns and strategies. Ensure smooth hand-offs between marketing and sales teams and collaborate on follow-up activities to nurture leads through the sales funnel.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Client Visits: Conduct visits to clients' locations as needed. Present company presentations to potential and existing clients to showcase our products and services.
  • Quotation: Prepare and send proposals and quotations to clients, ensuring timely and accurate communication to secure business opportunities.
