*Role & responsibilities:

Design and Create Floral Arrangements:

• Conceptualize and design custom floral arrangements
• Include bouquets, centerpieces, wreaths, and other decorative displays.

Creative Direction & Design:

• Translate your ideas visually for your team by illustrating your idea in various looks and styles, with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print.
• Assist the designer in effectively using design tools to translate your vision into designs. Proofread to ensure accurate and high-quality work.
• Utilize various media, including design tools and software, to create designs for event dcor and marketing materials for both internal and external communication.

Client Management:

• Meet with clients to discuss floral needs, preferences, and budget.
• Develop design briefs that suit the client's purpose.
• Create detailed proposals and quotes.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate records of orders, inventory, and expenses.
• Manage the budget for floral projects, ensuring cost-effective use of materials without compromising quality.

Event Setup and Coordination:

• Visit sites and Coordinate with event planners, venue staff, and other vendors.
• Set up floral arrangements at event venues attractively and securely.
• Collaborate with the CEO and operations team to enhance production-related information.

Supplier Coordination and Negotiation:

• Select suppliers based on commercial and technical factors.
• Select, collaborate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and clear specifications.
• Prepare and finalize contracts, discussing credit terms, and managing annual supply agreements.

Quality and Supply Chain Management:

• Monitor supply schedules and quality levels, establishing relationships with reliable vendors.
• Analyze data to foresee potential disruptions and implement preventive measures.

*Preferred candidate profile:

• Bachelor of Design or Fine Arts with floral design electives (IFD / Ikebana / IED / EMDI/ NIEM)
• Experience in Floral Industry will be an added advantage.
