Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in steel and cement sales, and possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the market, and the ability to drive business growth.
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to increase revenue, expanding market share, managing client relationships, and leading a team of sales representatives to achieve targets in the steel and cement industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth in the steel and cement sector. Identify new business opportunities and penetrate untapped markets to increase market share.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners. Address customer needs and concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives. Set clear performance goals, provide guidance, and monitor team performance to meet sales targets.
- Market Analysis:
- Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust strategies and stay competitive in the marketplace.
- Sales Target Achievement:
- Take ownership of sales targets and deliver results within stipulated timelines. Ensure that all sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Product Knowledge & Training:
- Provide in-depth product knowledge and training to the sales team and clients. Ensure that all sales personnel are up to date with the latest product specifications and industry trends.
- Reporting & Forecasting:
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant data to senior management. Analyze performance metrics and develop corrective action plans when necessary.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the steel and cement industries.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales, managing key accounts, and achieving targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of the steel and cement market in Hyderabad or South India.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable to changing market dynamics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Knowledge of regional construction and infrastructure projects in Hyderabad.
- Familiarity with supply chain and logistics management in the steel and cement industries.
