Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Sales Officer for our Pune Division to expand and strengthen our market presence in the FMCG-Food sector. This mid-level, full-time position requires a minimum of 4 to 6 years’ relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing sales strategies, building key relationships, and driving revenue growth for our innovative product range.
Qualifications and Skills
- Sales Strategy (Mandatory skill): Proven expertise in developing and implementing sales strategies tailored to the FMCG-Food industry for measurable business growth.
- Lead Generation (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated experience in generating and managing qualified leads to maintain a robust sales pipeline for consistent target achievement.
- Client Relationship Management (Mandatory skill): Advanced capability in establishing, nurturing, and retaining long-term client relationships to foster business continuity.
- Negotiation: Strong proficiency in negotiation, enabling favorable agreements and sustainable partnerships with distributors, retailers, and clients.
- Networking: Ability to effectively network across the industry, identifying new business opportunities and establishing significant professional contacts.
- Presentation Skills: Skill in creating and delivering compelling product presentations to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of product benefits and value propositions.
- Analytical Thinking: Competence in analyzing sales data and market trends to drive tactical decision-making and improve sales outcomes.
- Team Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration abilities to work closely with marketing, operations, and distribution teams for seamless workflows.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective sales plans to achieve business targets in the Pune Division, focusing on gluten-free and healthy FMCG products.
- Identify, approach, and onboard new channel partners, distributors, and retailers to expand our market reach.
- Manage daily lead generation activities and follow-up processes to ensure a strong and consistent sales pipeline.
- Cultivate and strengthen professional relationships with existing and prospective clients for long-term business growth and customer loyalty.
- Negotiate agreements, close sales deals, and ensure timely order fulfillment in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing actionable insights to senior management for strategic planning.
- Report on sales performance, forecasts, and market developments to management, recommending improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client queries, ensure product availability, and deliver exceptional service in every client interaction.
