Position Overview:
As a Business Manager with a dual focus on sales and design in the home interiors industry, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through effective sales strategies and innovative design solutions. You will be responsible for overseeing both the sales process and the design aspect of home interior projects, ensuring seamless coordination between the two functions to meet client needs and exceed expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and relationship building.
Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing, ensuring timely follow-up and efficient communication with clients.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale to secure profitable deals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Design Leadership:
Lead a team of interior designers to develop creative design concepts and solutions for residential clients.
Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, lifestyle needs, and budget constraints.
Translate client requirements into innovative design proposals, mood boards, and presentations.
Oversee the selection of furniture, fixtures, finishes, and accessories to create cohesive interior spaces.
Ensure that design projects are executed with precision, attention to detail, and adherence to project timelines.
Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to designers to maintain quality standards.
Stay updated on the latest trends, materials, and technologies in the home interiors industry to inspire design innovation.
Business Operations:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, design, and overall business performance.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to optimize business processes and achieve strategic objectives.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices in sales and design operations.
Qualification & Experience:
· B.Arch/M.Arch/B.Des/Diploma in interiors
· Proven experience of 8-15 years in sales management and interior design, preferably in the home interiors industry.
Required Skills:
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in sales techniques, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and design software.
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Passion for sales excellence, design innovation, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
· Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to home interiors.
