Job Overview

SANAH INFRA PROJECTS PVT LTD is seeking a Mid-Level QS Executive Engineering professional to join our team in Chennai, Sholinghur. The selected candidate will play a critical role in cost estimation, contract management, and the tendering process, contributing significantly to our construction projects' successful delivery. This position demands expertise in both required and mandatory skills along with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, quality-focused environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in cost estimation and financial planning, including budgeting and cost control (Mandatory skill).
• Solid understanding of contract management, including preparation and administration of contracts and agreements (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in tendering processes, including preparation of bids and understanding of procurement procedures (Mandatory skill).
• Experience in using AutoCAD for drafting and designing construction elements in a precise manner.
• Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM), enhancing the quality and efficiency of construction management tasks.
• Competency in using project management software for tracking project timelines and deliverables systematically and effectively.
• Strong skills in quantity takeoff, including the accurate determination of material quantities and ensuring resources are used optimally.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis, cost tracking, and generating insightful reports to support project objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates to support project budgeting, collaborating closely with project teams to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
• Manage all aspects of contract negotiations, drafting, and administration to safeguard company interests and foster smooth project execution.
• Lead the tendering process, evaluating and recommending optimal suppliers to enhance project delivery outcomes.
• Utilize AutoCAD and BIM to develop and refine construction plans, ensuring the highest standards of design accuracy and feasibility.
• Employ project management software to monitor project progress, delivering timely updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Conduct comprehensive quantity takeoff tasks, ensuring material demands are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Work in tandem with other departments to ensure that all project aspects align with overarching company goals and quality benchmarks.
• Generate and analyze reports using MS Excel to drive informed decisions and support overall project financial health.
