Senior / Lead Integration Engineer

Position

SCALE Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior or Lead Integration Engineer to join our team. This position requires experience with technologies such as HL7, FHIR, Mirth, API/Json, and x12.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable interface solutions.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure uninterrupted data flow and system interoperability.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of EHR integrations to guarantee data accuracy.

·        Create documentation to support our integration processes and workflow;

·        Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.

• Leverage cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) for data storage, processing, and analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an integration engineering or a related field.

·        Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, x12/EDI and other healthcare interoperability standards;

·        Proficient experience in HTML, XML, JSON and RESTful web services and testing web services.

·        Working knowledge of interface software such as Mirth.

·        Familiarity with diverse technical integrations, technologies, and processing environments, including cloud and SaaS technologies.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data issues effectively.

·        Ability to effectively communicate challenges and issues both verbally and in writing;

·        Intermediate or higher written and spoken English, ability to communicate directly with the client;

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and understanding of the healthcare industry is strongly desired.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with common ETL tools.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Expertise in data security best practices and regulatory compliance.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
