Roles and responsibilities

Role:

The proposed role is for planning manager for Beauty Personal Care category. The planning manager

will work with the category team sell side teams to drive key merchandising and strategic decisions

that influence the category PL

Responsibilities:

Category planner will be responsible for category specific planning activities on the following levels

Annual / Long term plans Preparation of AOP (annual operating plan), Creation of assortment plans

and brand seasonal buys

Monthly / Short term plans Monthly target setting, inwards capacity allocation, OTB management

Reporting KPI management Tracking category s key metrics, weekly/monthly/season

performance review and analytics support to category managers.

Skills Required:

Strong problem-solving ability Candidate needs to exhibit structured thinking, strong Analytical Skills

and Process Orientation

Strong in Data analytics Candidates should understand SQL and Python. Should be highly proficient

in Advances Excel; Knowledge of automating processes is preferred.

Highly Action Oriented Myntra as a culture has a strong bias for action and speed of implementation.

Incoming candidate will need to own projects from conceptualization to execution

Ability to collaborate - Build working relationships with members from the other departments and be

able to support the analysts within the team
