Job Title: EDP Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and tech-savvy EDP Manager to oversee and manage the electronic data processing systems and IT infrastructure of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining hardware and software systems, managing data processing activities, and supporting the company’s digital operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and oversee the organization’s EDP systems and IT infrastructure.
• Manage daily operations of data processing, system administration, and network support.
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and system efficiency.
• Lead the maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.
• Coordinate with other departments to understand their EDP requirements and provide solutions.
• Oversee the installation and configuration of new systems and software.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements or upgrades as needed.
• Ensure backup and disaster recovery systems are in place and functional.
• Manage and supervise the IT/EDP team; provide training and support where needed.
• Liaise with software vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and support.
• Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in EDP or IT systems management.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, databases, and network administration.
• Familiarity with ERP software, backup systems, and cybersecurity practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
