Job Title: Tax Accountant – Australian Division

Location: Ahmedabad, India (WFH for Suitable Candidate)

Working Hours: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday to Saturday)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tax Accountant with experience in the Australian tax domain. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Australian tax regulations and practices and be able to manage various tax-related responsibilities for our Australian division..

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file tax returns for Australian clients, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Handle Goods and Services Tax (GST), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), and other relevant Australian taxes.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and support tax audits.
• Knowledge of Individual Tax return preparation.
• Prepare tax calculations and reports for submission to Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
• Advise clients on tax-related matters, including deductions, exemptions, and tax planning.
• Ensure accurate and timely tax filings to meet deadlines.
• Work closely with other departments to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
• Stay updated with the latest Australian tax regulations and legislative changes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Tax Accountant, specifically in the Australian domain.
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws, GST, and ATO regulations.
• Experience working with Australian clients or handling Australian tax matters.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
