Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Business Development Executive to join our team. This is a mid-level, full-time position based in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Jajpur, Nayagarh, Kendrapara, Puri, and Dhenkanal. The ideal candidate will have between 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in the FMCG industry, focusing on retail sales and secondary sales.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience of 4 to 6 years in a business development role within the FMCG sector is essential.
- Proficiency in retail sales and secondary sales is required (Mandatory skill).
- Strong understanding of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry dynamics (Mandatory skill).
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce for customer relationship management is desirable.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to close business deals effectively.
- Experience in B2B sales, with a focus on establishing and maintaining business relationships.
- An understanding of primary sales strategies within the beverage sector is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at various levels.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with retail clients and key business stakeholders.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives by effectively managing a sales pipeline.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and insights that can inform sales strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to enhance brand visibility and product offerings.
- Ensure effective communication and seamless operations between different business units.
- Prepare and present business proposals and sales forecasts to senior management.
- Provide feedback and insights on product demand, competition, and evolving market needs.
