Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer with proven hands-on experience in managing and securing enterprise networks. The role involves implementing, monitoring, and maintaining a wide range of network security, switching, endpoint, and backup solutions to safeguard organizational systems, data, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, manage, and all type of troubleshoot Sophos, FortiGate, etc. firewalls.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot L2 and L3 network switches from vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Netgear, Zyxel, and FortiSwitch.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and alerts to detect and respond to threats.
• Perform firewall policy management, VPN configuration (Site-to-Site and Remote), NAT, and rule optimization.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Manage intrusion prevention, content filtering, and application control.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in penetration testing.
• Provide support for incident response, investigation, and resolution.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure integration of new technologies.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of network security configurations and changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrable hands-on experience in configuration and troubleshooting for Sophos and FortiGate Firewalls.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with L2/L3 Network switches from Cisco, Aruba, Netgear, Zyxel, and FortiSwitch.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
• Experience with endpoint solutions such as Bitdefender, Trendmicro, Sophos, Trellix, and Crowd Strike.
• Experience with backup solutions such as Qnap and Veeam.
• Experience in firewall policies, IPS/IDS, VPNs, NAT, and routing.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., SIEM).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Fortinet NSE, Sophos Certified Engineer, CCNA, CCNP Security, CEH, CISSP) will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to cloud security (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
