Key Accountabilities

The Sales Leader will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Perform duties in alignment with the company’s Mission, Values, Mission;
  • Close sales through a consultative sales process;
  • Prospect and qualify potential clients, leads and referrals, identifying decision makers and delivering the value proposition of your events.
  • Utilize and manage customer relationship management system (CRM) to maintain all client and lead information;
  • Soliciting new clients to exhibit and sponsor in assigned trade show(s) within a defined and protected territory.
  • Making cold calls and having at least 30 conversations with clients daily.
  • Researching potential new clients and prospects using various resources for business development.
  • Actively participate in regular weekly sales meetings and host one meeting a month.
  • Weekly reporting of all sales activity, pipeline and forecasts with accurate reporting to the Commercial Sales Director.
  • Promoting and actively cross-selling into events within the Royce Links portfolio.
  • Creating strong relationships through having face-to-face meetings with existing clients in order to identify future opportunities.
  • Working to achieve industry appropriate mix of clients whose products, services and technology are being displayed at each event.
  • Allocating exhibition space and prioritizing the placement of clients – including renewals - based on their specific needs and featured products and services, as well as featured venues.
  • Preparing and entering all contracts and/or supporting paperwork into Sales force for timely processing.
  • Ensuring the overall level of sales & customer service meets Royce Links events standards.
