Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Retail Store Manager to oversee our store operations in Cochin, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Palakkad district, and Alappuzha. This is a full-time position offering significant responsibility for delivering superior operational performance and customer satisfaction. Applicants should have up to 10 years of relevant work experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven expertise in store operations (Mandatory skill) with a track record of managing all aspects of a retail outlet efficiently.
- Exceptional skills in delivering outstanding customer experience (Mandatory skill), ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting (Mandatory skill), cost management, and resource allocation in a retail setting.
- Strong proficiency in store management practices, including sales optimization, merchandising, and compliance standards.
- Effective team leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to guide diverse teams toward performance goals and professional growth.
- Comprehensive knowledge of inventory management processes, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimal shrinkage.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, forecast trends, and adapt strategies accordingly for effective decision-making.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers, staff, and vendors professionally.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations, supervising staff to achieve targets and maintain operational standards.
- Ensure exemplary customer experience by implementing best practices in service, engagement, and feedback resolution.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize resource allocation to improve profitability.
- Coordinate inventory procurement, stock control, and timely replenishment to meet customer demand and sales goals.
- Recruit, train, and manage team members, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
- Analyze sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and implement marketing and promotional initiatives.
- Enforce compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and statutory requirements at all times.
- Establish strong vendor relationships and oversee supply chain logistics to support uninterrupted business operations.
