Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Engineer (Civil) to ensure that our construction projects meet the highest quality standards. As a Quality Control Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting all aspects of the construction process to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations. This is a mid-level position, requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in the field. The employment type for this role is full-time.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in quality control for construction projects
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices
• Experience in building construction and site execution
• Sound understanding of high-quality standards and QAQC processes
• Ability to review and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficient in using quality control tools and software
• Certification in quality management systems is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect all phases of the construction process to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations
• Perform quality control tests and inspections on materials, equipment, and structures
• Identify and report any non-conforming materials or workmanship
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes
• Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify adherence to quality standards
• Prepare and maintain quality control documentation, including reports and records
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
• Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality control in civil engineering
